Have you seen me

Software that
stays with you.

HYSM is a small studio making useful mobile apps. No surveillance layer. No mandatory account. The work lives on your device first — then, only if you ask, talks to a service you chose.

Why this name

Not a missing poster.
A question aimed at the feed.

“Have you seen me?” used to mean a person gone missing. Online it flipped: everything has seen you. Trackers, SDKs, “free” accounts where YOU are the product.

HYSM asks the other way. Have you seen yourself? Your week? Your meetings? Your own files? Your mental comfort? We build tools that hand that back — quietly, locally, without making you and your data sales-asset for a platform.

The pact

Privacy is not a setting.
It is the default shape.

01 · Privacy

Your device is the server

Planner data, recordings, and notes stay in app-private storage. We do not run analytics. We do not need your email to let the app work.

02 · Security

Keys stay in the Keystore

API keys you bring live in EncryptedSharedPreferences backed by Android Keystore. Nothing secret is baked into the APK. Network is HTTPS and user-started.

03 · Open

Readable by default

Architecture and privacy notes ship with the source. You should be able to see what an app does before you trust it with a your personal life and data.

Portfolio

Things you can actually use.

Two apps in active development. Sideload builds first. Play listings when the product is honest enough to charge for.

DueNext in testing

What it solves. A syllabus is a PDF that pretends to be a plan. DueNext turns it into a semester timeline you can see on Monday morning — what is due, what is heavy, what to study before Hell Week.

  • Offline-first terms, courses, and tasks. No account.
  • One optional API extract per upload to structure dates and weights.
  • Week strip, due-today, study-hour suggestions from assignment weight.
  • Delete-all-data in settings. Keys never leave the phone.

ClassReplay family MVP

What it solves. You cannot type as fast as a lecture. ClassReplay records on-device, transcribes when you tap (Whisper), summarizes when you tap (xAI), and keeps the library by date — then exports a PDF you can actually study from.

  • Screen-off recording with a foreground service you can see.
  • Local audio library. Access Cloud APIs only after an explicit tap.
  • Bring-your-own keys. No Firebase. No Google Sign-In.
  • Long lectures split at transcribe time so Whisper’s 20 MB cap does not eat the class.

Next empty lot

What it will solve. The next tool earns a card when it is real. Same rules: local-first core, optional network, no telemetry tax.

Open nature

You should not need faith.
You should need a file.

Every HYSM app is written so a skeptical person can answer three questions: What does it store? When does it leave the phone? How do I delete it?

Store

Room / files on device. Secrets in Keystore. Backups excluded from cloud where the OS allows it.

Leave

Only on a tap you can describe in one sentence: “transcribe this lecture,” “extract this syllabus.”

Delete

A single control that wipes local data. Uninstalling is enough. There is no shadow profile on our servers because there is no profile.

Contact

Sideload first.
Store later.

Builds are tested on Android 10 and up. If you want DueNext or ClassReplay on a device, say which phone and which app. We will not put you on a newsletter that phones home — this page has no tracker.
